Manuel Medina (“Manu”) is an active Peruvian Media Composer, Sound designer, Keyboardist and educator living in the Washington DC area. He got a degree in Music Technology from George Mason University School of Music.
As a sound designer, producer, and composer, He has credits in many independent films as well as an audio editor. These project go from electronic minimalist, orchestral cinematic sounding, to jazz influenced scores.
You can get some of his original sound effects and other assets by contacting him. The latest original score is featured in the short film “The Sun and the Medicine man”. A film that has been played in different independent festivals over the world.
He has worked with many different acts from wide variety of genres going from pop, rock, latin, jazz, electronic, church music, ambient piano music for private events, themed parties, corporate events, weddings, hotels, embassies, coffee houses, and venues like the Howard Theater and The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
